1. In 1964, Qingdao Fertilizer Factory established Qingdao Fertilizer Factory "Wuqi" Relations Factory.
2. In March.25th, 1980, approved by the City Economic Committee (Qingdao Economy Committee No. [80] 45), the company was converted the system into Qingdao Fertilizer Branch Factory, a town-grade collectivity enterprise, producing calcium dihydrate and liquid calcium, and making use of waste stone residue which is produced when producing alkali to produce 325# volcano ash cement.
3. In 1986, the company invested RMB4.3 million to improve the old technologies of producing calcium chloride, adopted currently new three-effect evaporation technology with steam as the heat resource. The new-technology-productive system was completed and put into production at the end of 1987, the productive capability of calcium dihydrate was improved to 15,000 tons per year from the original 1500 tons per year.
4. In August 1992, the company established joint venture Qingdao Huadong Calcium Producing Co., Ltd. together with Hong Kong Huaqing Development Co., Ltd. (with total investment of $1.43 million, including $980 thousand from the branch factory and $450 thousand from HK partner).
5. After the establishment of joint venture, the company newly established a calcium dihydrate production line with annual capability of 15,000 tons, being finished in April 1993 based on the original workshop. At the end of 1993, the productive capability reached 30,000 tons.
6. In 1997 the company prepared RMB11 million by itself, improved itself technologically, and enlarged the production once again. The new calcium chloride workshop was established and put into production in 1998, with productive capability of calcium chloride of 60,000tons per year. At the end of 1998, the output of calcium dihydrate reaches 50,499 tons, exported 27,227 tons and earned $3.35 million.
7. In 1998, the company developed and produced granule calcium chloride, which filled the national blank; after being examined and approved by the State Economic & Trade Commission, the product passed the identification of state-grade new product.
8. In 1994, the company won the reputation title of "500 Powerful Foreign-invested Enterprise of Shandong".
9. From 1998, the company successively won the title of "Qingdao Civilized Union" for three years.
10. In 1997 and 1998 the company successively won the title of "Excellent Industrial Enterprise of Qingdao".
11. In 1996, the company won "Best Benefit Prize of Qingdao Labor Contest".
12. In 1997 and 1998, the company successively won the prize of "Qingdao Advanced Enterprise in Labor Management". In 2002, the company won the title of "Qingdao Reliable Labor Guarantee Enterprise".
13. In 1999, calcium chloride productive system got the standard certificate of iso9001-1994 of China Quality Management Association Quality Guarantee Center.
14. In 2000, the company developed the productive technology of "granule calcium" together with the national famous university; the production line of annually producing 5,000 tons was established at the end of 2001, which possesses characteristics of high content, quick thawing speed, and high additional value; therefore, the product is extremely welcomed by foreign and domestic users.
15. In Oct.29th, 2002, the calcium chloride productive system got the standard certificate of ISO9001-2000 of China Quality Management Association Quality Guarantee Center.
